Reservations Policy

1. Reservations
Reservations must be in writing using form of reserves or alternatively via email reservas@hotelrapanui.com indicating the following information:
• Passenger Name
• Type of room
or Single
or Double: Double or Twin
or Triple: Triple (3 beds) or Double with extra bed
or Flight number (if the shuttle was hired)

• Date IN and OUT
• Number of flights (IN and OUT).
The reservation is confirmed only when given in writing a reservation code, which is sent via email.

1.1. Guarantee Policy
To secure a booking, you need the credit card information or, alternatively, prepayment before deadline (details in chapter 4.2 for singles and 5. 2 for groups). The unsecured reservation is canceled without notice.


1.2. Check-IN and Check-OUT
• Check-IN: from 3:00 p.m.
• Check-Out: until 10:00
• Early Check-IN breakfast included Rapa Nui
• Late Check-Out: until 18:00.


Two. Availability
The availability given by phone or email is highly confidential information subject to change and do not necessarily guarantee space upon receipt of the written request.

3.1 Promotional rates

May. Individual reservations (1-2 rooms)
5.1. Conditions for individual booking
Information credit card or alternatively prepaid the first night and the corresponding receipt 30 days before the date in of passengers (the details are in Chapter 8).

5. 2. Individual Reservation Cancellation
Cancellation without charge, 30 days in advance of the date.
The subsequent are made, will be charged the first night of the reservation.
No refund of the amount paid. Prepayment is considered as a guarantee of the reservation.
June. Group Booking (3 or more rooms)
6.1 Conditions for group booking
Credit card information or alternatively prepaid the first night and the corresponding receipt 60 days before the date in of passengers (the details are in Chapter 8).

6.2. Elimination or reduction of the group
Cancellation without charge, 60 days in advance of the date.
The subsequent are made, will be charged the first night of the reservation.
No refund of the amount paid. Prepayment is considered as a guarantee of the reservation.

July. Child Policy
Infant (0-2 years) is released sharing bed with an adult.
Cribs It also has additional charge. Quantity for cots in the room is 1.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult sleep.

August. NO SHOW
8.1. Individual
He charged the full (100%) of the reserve. No refund of the amount paid.
8.2. Groups

9. Payments
9.1. Payment Policies
The exchange rate between peso (CLP) and U.S. dollars (USD) is set.
Payment policies are:
• Methods of payment: credit card, cash and deposit
• Currencies accepted credit card: one peso (CLP)
• Currencies accepted when paying with cash and deposit: CLP and USD
• Credit cards accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diner's Club.
9.2. Payments by credit card
To secure a booking, you need credit card information. No credit cards will be charged in advance, full payment of the reservation will be charged on site in Chilean pesos (CLP).
9.3. Payments via deposit / transfer
To secure a booking, you need to prepay the first night and the corresponding proof before deadline. The outstanding balance will be charged at the hotel.
Once the deposit / transfer please send a copy to the email reservas@hotelrapanui.com, clearly indicating:
• Booking code
• Passenger Name
• IN and OUT date.
The copy will need to send before the dead line for the cancellation.
The charges made by the issuing bank and / or intermediary bank for services and / or fees and / or differences in the exchange rate, credit card or other, should be borne by the customer.
In case there is a difference in the amount of transfer received, either for the reasons mentioned above or other, this will be taken as a hotel bill.

10. Bedding must be requested when booking, additional value should be consulted.

11. Transfer service

Service has a value of USD 15 or CLP $ 7,500 per person

12. Validity
These policies are valid only for direct sales customers and can not be applied and / or partially or fully extended to a third party, such as travel agencies, operators, service providers, or other online services.
These policies are valid from January 1, 2013 and supersedes any previous policy.
